CIEH Level 2 Food Safety in Manufacturing (1 Day)
Description
This qualification is aimed at those working in a food manufacturing, catering or related environment. The qualification is intended for learners already working in food related business and those who are preparing to work in the industry.

This qualification covers the principles of HACCP including the procedures required to develop HACCP and how the principles are applied in a food production environment.
​

​
Holders of the qualification will have the knowledge necessary to be an integral part of a food business as well as part of Technical and Quality departments and HACCP team members. The qualification is also suitable for those working in related industries, such as packaging, storage & distribution and agents & brokers.

The qualification is also relevant to those owning/managing smaller food businesses to give them the underpinning knowledge to understand the fundamentals of food safety.

Food safety training is regarded by the Foods Standards Agency as being important to maintaining good practice in the production of safe food.
